Managed to try this place out during one of my more flexible days at lunch time. My office is just a short walk from Asia square and thankfully they had available seats so we decided to try out some of their lunch sets here. Folks Collective serves Thai fusion food and seems to have quite value for money lunch sets (presumably meant to appeal to the working lunch crowd)

Sapporo Ramen Miharu

I miss blogging! And to blog, I need to keep exploring new places but unfortunately, I’ve just been so busy with work. My lunches and dinner are mostly takeaways from my nearby foodcourt at my office (hardly blogging material). Thankfully, last weekend, I decided to forget it all and go satisfy my ramen craving at Sapporo Ramen Miharu. 

Asia Grand

Happy Monkey Year to all! This is the one time in a year where for a whole two weeks, we probably eat the same menu for at least four times, especially if you’re Chinese, come from big families and work in a local company.

Koji

Typically Monday morning at work. I ask YL out for lunch but he declines as he is in training. However, about ten minutes later, L messages asking if I’m free for lunch. Of course I am! 

Tung Lok Xi He Peking Duck

It’s always hard to say goodbye to a friend, but life happens and when that friend calls the gang up for the last dinner before she flies out of Singapore, you try your hardest to make it, even when work is literally killing you. So this is what happened two weeks ago, the RGL gang met up for one last time for a local-ish dinner at Tung Lok Xi He to have some peking duck and chilli crab. Even J made it, despite just flying back from Myanmar that afternoon and being done with food poisoning.

Ember

Not going to lie, work has been tough. However, one of the perks of work is when the firm organizes a department dinner and you get to try a restaurant that has been on your watch list for a while. I was quite curious as to what the food at Ember would be like. Most people who’ve been there have raved about their modern European food, especially the value for money lunch sets. 

Nude Seafood

Nude Seafood has been opened for a while. I heard of it a couple of years ago as one of my dear friends, E, was asked to do some freelance design work for the restaurant before it opened. As such, we were encouraged to check the restaurant out, which all of them did, except for me since I could never find the opportunity.
