It’s taken a while for me to get back to blogging. I blame work. Too many early mornings has taken its toll on me. Even eating and exploring new places has become a stretch for me. Thankfully, I was able to make it to a friend’s gathering recently and finally had the chance to check out Aura – a bit over due, but better late than never.

Cafe Melba

The girls and I were at Goodman Arts Centre for a pottery session where we learned basic throwing – which is basically how to transform a lump of clay into a recognizable shape using the potter’s wheel. What started as a pretty intimidating session, for me at least, turned out to be really fun.  Continue reading


Examinations are ongoing now, so have not been eating out so much. However, last weekend was the little sis’s birthday, so I took the time to take her out for a nice meal. However, I confess, I got a little lazy and anxious about where to bring her. Italian? Local? Japanese? As the days led up, I made a quick decision. We were going to do a buffet so that we could have a bit of everything. So after having done some research, figured that Lime would be something nice to try – It had been getting some steady reviews on the quality of the food and it was also on the entertainment app. Score.
