Aura

It’s taken a while for me to get back to blogging. I blame work. Too many early mornings has taken its toll on me. Even eating and exploring new places has become a stretch for me. Thankfully, I was able to make it to a friend’s gathering recently and finally had the chance to check out Aura – a bit over due, but better late than never.

Aura is situated at the National Gallery and has quite a nice view of the supreme court on a clear day. Continue reading

Nongcakeja Thai Food

When J told me that we were going to have lunch at this nondescript Thai place at the Adelphi, the first thought that came to mind was “how the f*** did you guys find out about this place.”

It doesn’t have the best location. It’s located on the second floor of a building that most people would not step into unless there was a specific shop they wanted to visit. I guess that if you’re that good, word of mouth really makes the publicity rounds for you.  Continue reading

Bar lectures have started and for the past week, my classmates and I found ourselves trudging to the so familiar shopping centre of Raffles City for lunch. Many a time, a comment could be heard that we should be looking to find other nearby alternatives instead of heading to the foodcourt each time.
