Pita Pan

Had tickets to watch Cats tonight and needed a place which served food quickly. N suggested Pita Pan which is a vegetarian place serving Mediterranean cuisine. I’m always a little skeptical of vegetarian cuisine because I can never equate paying the same amount of $ for a dish which gives me zero protein and often leaves me hungrier later on.

Nevertheless, having had a huge workshop earlier where I had eaten quite a heavy meal, I was not too worried about keeping my stomach contented. Their meals cost at least >$10, so I got myself the hummus with chick peas, while N got herself a falafel pocket set meal which came with soup and drink.

The hummus was very tasty, just like what I’ve tried in Turkey when I visited some years ago. I could see myself easily eating this as a meal, though I still think I would get hungry pretty easily again. Wouldn’t mind trying its other dishes again next time I visit. In particular, its Shakshuka looked really appetizing
